Ontario Provincial Police say they were called to a disturbance at an apartment building on West Street in Blind River shortly after 1 pm on Thursday.
One male has been arrested and police say there is no threat to public safety.
An investigation is ongoing and is being assisted by:
- OPP’s canine unit
- Emergency Response Team members
- Tactic and Rescue Unit
- East Algoma Crime Unit
- Crisis negotiators
- Critical Incident Command
