Police in North Bay have identified the victim killed in a fiery two-vehicle crash west of the city on Sunday.
He's a well-known inventor from North Bay, Troy Hurtubise.
Police say the 54-year-old Hurtubise died following a collision with a tractor-trailer Sunday between North Bay and Sturgeon Falls on Highway 17.
Hurtubise was an inventor and a naturalist, and was best known for making an impenetrable-suit called the Ursus Mark VI.
It allowed him to be safe around bears and to be run over by vehicles.
He was also the subject of a world-renowned 1996 documentary called "Project Grizzly."
