Timmins Police Service say the post-mortem examination of the deceased person found at the scene of a vehicle fire on Brundy Lane in Schumacher on May 18th confirmed the identity of victim, Kirk Thurston, 23, of Schumacher.
Police are asking the general public to respect the privacy of the family during this difficult time.

An update to a story we've been reporting this week.
CTV News has obtained court documents identifying a man police say was murdered in Schumacher last week.
The documents identify the victim as Kirk Thurston of Timmins.
Timmins police have charged a 41-year-old man with second-degree murder in connection with the case.
Richard Green was apprehended after a three-day manhunt after police discovered a burned out car and human remains in the car last Friday.
