One arrested after report of someone in with a firearm on Queen Street in the Sault

No injuries were reported Friday after Sault police responded to a report of someone with a firearm on Queen Street East.

One person has been arrested.

There is still a police presence in the area, police said in an update Friday evening.

"911 communicators received reports of someone in the area with a firearm," police said.

No other details have been released. This story will be updated when more information is available.
