Update:
Timmins Police have arrested 41-year-old Richard Green, who was wanted for murder along with a string of other charges in connection with a torched car and human remains discovered in the car in the Schumacher area last Friday.
The manhunt lasted just three days before Green was arrested quietly in the city Tuesday night.
Green is charged with second-degree murder and is currently being held in police custody.

Police in Timmins continue to investigate and are looking for a suspect in connection with a body being found in a burned out car on Friday.
Early Sunday, the scene, just outside of Gold Centre in Schumacher's east end and a few hundred meters down Brundy Road, was released.
The charred remains of Friday’s car fire are still visible near a four-wheeler trail, while the body recovered from the torched car is currently in Toronto undergoing a post-mortem examination.
Police have shifted their focus to the home of 41-year-old Richard Green, locking down his small residence in Schumacher. The small, backhouse will remain under police control for the foreseeable future.
Danny Charest is the Staff sergeant for Timmins Police Service.
"We are still securing a residence in the Schumacher area, pending the outcome of the post-mortem examination." said Charest.
Marc Depatie is the Community Liaison Officer for Timmins Police Service.
"Based on those results we'll be able to determine the cause of death, as well as the exact identity of the person we believe it to be. At this point we're still awaiting those outcomes. That scene remains under the control of the Timmins Police Service for obvious reasons. There's other pieces of evidence that we hope to derive from the scene." said Depatie.
The warrant for Green's arrest is long. He is wanted for second-degree murder, arson, vehicle theft and indignity to a dead body, but to his neighbours he is known as the “veggie man.”
Mark Kinsman is a former neighbour.
"It took me a few minutes to put two and two together, but yeah, that was the guy that everyone in the neighbourhood knew as the guy with the green thumb." said Kinsman.
He lived across the back lane from Green for more than a year. A man that he says was always friendly, offering his neighbours free access to his garden.
"You'd run into him periodically, and again, just fixing the bikes and just growing the fresh dill, which he was known for." said Kinsman.
He says Green often spoke of sobriety and a struggle with addiction.
The news of a gruesome crime came as a shock.
"You wouldn't expect anything to, you know, be tied in to such a neighbour. You know, you don't expect these people to be living in your back yard." said Kinsman.
Based on the investigation thus far, police believe the victim was known to Green and they are confident he's still in the area.
"Our investigators aren't aware of any significant, valid information that would give rise to the suspicion that he's left the area. With that in mind, we're under the presumption that he is still currently in the Timmins area." said Depatie.
Police have added that Green owns several motorcycles and is skilled in bush craft, urging residents not to approach the man if he is spotted, saying it is safer to simply call police.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim, pending the results of an autopsy that was to be performed Tuesday.
