A federal offender who was last seen in Sudbury is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for allegedly breaching his statutory release conditions.
Daniel Kataquapit, 35, is known to frequent the Sudbury and Timmins areas, the Ontario Provincial Police repeat offender parole enforcement (ROPE) squad said in a news release Tuesday morning.
He was last seen in the Nickel City on Aug. 28, Det. Staff Sgt. Steve Sermet told CTVNewsNorthernOntario.ca in an email.
Kataquapit is serving a two-year, five-month sentence for break and enter, theft, fraud, possession of property obtained by crime and failing to comply with an undertaking.
He is described as being five-foot-11, 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Kataquapit has at least three tattoos: the words 'grey sky' on his right forearm, a picture of 'joker's head' on his left forearm and an unfinished native warrior on his left upper arm.
