Timmins hospital 50/50 draw winner for March takes home $177K
Pauline Reuben from Moosonee won $177,222 in the March 50-50 draw held by Timmins and District Hospital Foundation.
“Let’s just say Pauline was so happy with our call she had a hard time talking!” the Foundation said in a news release Monday.
“She originally played in a group but that didn’t last too long so she decided to play on her own once in a while.”
Reuben said she always takes a screenshot of her ticket so she can check them wherever she wants. She was thrilled to find out she won.
“Once she composed herself, her first call was to her husband Michael who really didn’t believe her as Pauline is known to be a little bit of a prankster,” the new release said.
“She told us that once her head stops spinning, she will make a plan for her windfall.”
Sales for the April draw are now open with the jackpot already at a $33,333. Click here for more information.
