The Sudbury Wolves will be hitting the ice this season with a new look.
The club showed off its 2017-2018 home and away jerseys on Monday.
"The new look will obviously get me more excited and making all these changes to make us better is also very exciting as well," said Blake Murray, the Wolves first round pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Draft.
"(I) can't wait to get back up here for camp after this week."
The organization said it's a modern look, with a salute to the past. The colours and logo are the same, but the stripes and number design are different.
The team said there is more meaning behind the latest uniforms than just marketing.
"Fresh clean look to an old concept that represents some of the more successful years of the franchise, looking back 10-plus years, 20-plus years," explained Andrew Dale, Sudbury Wolves Sports and Entertainment vice president of marketing and development.
"Bringing it back as a tribute to the previous teams who have won, as a leader on this hockey club we want to bring a winning culture," added Reagan O'Grady, Wolves defenceman.
The Wolves open training camp on August 31.
