Police have released a composite drawing of a suspicious man who approached a local youth earlier this summer.
On July 30, a man approached a youth while the youth retrieved a baseball at the treeline of a field near Brisson Boulevard in Hearst, according to police.
In a media release issued on Thursday afternoon, the Ontario Provincial Police said the search for the man in question continues.
“The male is described as having a dark complexion, late 20's/early 30's, wearing all black clothing including a black toque and blue Nike shoes,” reads a statement from police.
“Any person with information regarding this suspect should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at www.tipsubmit.com where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.”
Police are not releasing any details about the interaction between the man and the youth; only saying officers were called in regarding a ‘suspicious male’.
