Senior charged with sex assault on a minor at a school in northern Ont.

A 72-year-old from Blind River, Ont., has been charged with multiple counts of sexual assault involving a victim under the age of 16.
The incidents took place at a school in the community, Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release Thursday.
Police began investigating the case Oct. 15. The assaults allegedly took place between September 2023 and Oct. 15, 2024.
"The assaults were reported to have occurred at a school in Blind River," the OPP said.
Charges include two counts each of sexual assault of someone under the age of 16 and sexual interference.
The accused appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Blind River on Nov. 14.
