Pair from northwestern Ontario win $50K lottery prize

A pair from the northwestern Ontario community of Atikokan are celebrating winning $50,000 in a lottery raffle this summer.
Sandra Pooley and James Maki won the prize in the Triple Millions main draw on Aug. 29, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. said in a news release Thursday.
Their winning ticket was purchased at Atikokan News Stand on Main Street East, in the small town about 200 kilometres west of Thunder Bay.
