A North Bay man won $100,000 in the lottery last month, officials say.

Norman Archer matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the Aug. 10 Ontario 49 draw, the lottery company said in a news release.

"Encore offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1," Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. said.

"There are two Encore draws every day."

Archer purchased his winning ticket at the MacEwen gas station on Seymour Street in North Bay.
