For the 25th consecutive year, the sights, sounds and smell of Greece will be coming from the Hellenic Centre.
The Sudbury Greek festival is underway.
From traditional food, to music, dancing and games; organizers say it’s an important way to share Greek culture with the community.
“For us, it’s all about showing off what we’re all about,” said Kea Koutsoukis, of the festival’s organizers.
“From the Greek culture, and the Greek music and just showing off what we have to offer and trying to transport you to Greece for a weekend (through the festival).”
The annual celebration of Greek culture runs throughout the weekend.
