Ontario Provincial Police in West Parry Sound responded to a weapons call on Country Lane in Seguin Township shortly after midnight on Tuesday.
With the help of the Tactics and Rescue and Canine Units, Emergency Response Team, Unmanned Aerial System, Crisis Negotiators and Critical Incident Command, a 67-year-old man was apprehended and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The man, from Caledon in southern Ontario, has been arrested and charged with two counts of Attempt to Commit Murder Using Firearm.
He has been held in custody and will appear in a Parry Sound court at a later date.
