One person is dead after a tractor-trailer collision near Whitefish on Highway 17, west of Sudbury.
There are reports the truck hit a rock cut near an overpass just after six this morning.
One person in the rig was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, in the Markstay-Warren area on Highway 17, east of Sudbury, OPP say one person has died after a collision involving a tractor-trailer and an SUV.
Detours for the second crash are at Highway 537 and Highway 535.
