SUDBURY -- Police in Sault Ste. Marie have charged two people in connection with the city’s first homicide of the year Jan. 9.
They say 44-year-old David Jamieson was shot in the Caledon Street area of the city and later died in hospital.
Police say they will not release names or the charges involving the two accused in order to protect the integrity of the investigation.
Authorities say they believe this is an isolated incident and that there is no threat to public safety.
