SUDUBURY -- A 14-year-old from White River, north of Wawa, has been charged with multiple sex offences after officers from the Ontario Provincial Police's Superior East Detachment responded to a report of sexual assault April 26.
The name of the accused cannot be published because he is under the age of 18.
As a result of the investigation, the accused has been charged with sexual interference and sexual assault of a person under 16 years of age.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Wawa. The court date has not been released.
