Sudbury actor is taking his role on the road

While the curtain has closed on the Mirvish production of the Broadway-hit musical Dear Evan Hansen in Toronto, some of the cast members will continue their roles in another production of same the show.
This includes Alessandro Costantini, from Sudbury.
He will be continuing his role of Jared Kleinman as he joins the Dear Evan Hansen national tour. Costantini is one of four Toronto cast members selected to join the touring company, while several of the current tour members shift to the Broadway stage production.
The current touring schedule includes cities across North America and extends to September 2020.
In a Facebook post, Costantini says:
"Very grateful to be continuing my journey with Dear Evan Hansen on the National Tour Production! My heart and love to our tremendous Canadian Company of the show. Brilliant, all of them."
Alessandro Costantini was born in raised in the Greater Sudbury community of Garson and later graduated from Geroge Brown Theatre School. He co-founded Sudbury's YES Theatre, currently in its 10th season, and was nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore Award this year for his role in the Toronto production of Dear Evan Hansen. He was nominated for ‘Outstanding Performance in a Featured Role’ in the Musical Theatre division.
