The Anishinabek Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the circumstances around a death in Fort William First Nation.
Police and other emergency responders arrived at a residence on the First Nation on Oct. 24 "and located a female who was pronounced deceased at the scene," the OPP said in a news release Friday.
"The identity of the deceased will not be released."
The investigation by Anishinabek Police and OPP is continuing in conjunction with the Officer of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
