Quebec suspect charged with stunt driving in northern Ont.

A 25-year-old from Notre Dame du Nord, Que., has been charged with stunt driving, police in Temiskaming said Tuesday.

Ontario Provincial Police were on general patrol Dec. 20 around 11:45 p.m. when they spotted a vehicle on Development Road in Harley Township.

"They observed a motorist travelling at speeds in excess of 141 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone," police said in a news release.

In addition to stunt driving, the suspect's licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle has been impounded for two weeks.

The accused is scheduled to appear in Provincial Offences court in Temiskaming.
