The province is looking at possibly creating a couple of electoral ridings in Ontario's North.

A group called the “Far North Electoral Boundaries Commission” will be looking at the boundaries of Ontario's two Northern most ridings, Kenora-Rainy River and Timmins-James Bay.

The group will make recommendations about the creation of at least one and as many as two additional ridings in these areas.

The commission will conduct public hearings and a final report to the attorney general is expected by August 1st.
