Published reports citing anonymous sources Tuesday, April 9 say the secret is out and the new slogan for Ontario’s licence plates will be “A place to grow.”
Sources within the Doug Ford government have told reporters the 37-year-old slogan “Yours to discover” is being replaced for personal passenger vehicles.
The new slogan comes from a line from a 52-year-old song called ‘A Place to Stand.’ It was written for Canada's Expo 67.
An unveiling of the new licence plate designs are expected on Thursday.
