Hwy. 17 reopens following two-vehicle crash near Nairn Centre

Highway 17 has reopened in both directions near Nairn Centre, after it was closed for several hours following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon, Ontario Provincial Police say.
"Manitoulin OPP is currently on scene of a two-vehicle collision,” police said on social media.
"Detour available for passenger vehicles only on Lorne Falls Road. Updates will be provided when they become available."
Ontario 511 said the highway was closed from Spencer Lane North and Lorne Falls Road in Nairn Centre just before 1 p.m.
No word on the cause of the crash, the type or number of vehicles involved, if anyone was injured as a result or if any charges are pending.
