Ontario Provincial Police in the Town of Mattawa, east of North Bay, have closed a portion of Highway 533 in both directions due to severe flooding.
The Ministry of Transportation has placed barricades at both ends of the closure between Highway 656 and Highway 63.
The closure affects about 50 kilometres of road.
Drivers are urged to stay away as the area is considered dangerous.
