SUDBURY -- Sault Ste. Marie police seized nearly $40,000 in drugs and arrested five people suspected of trafficking Friday night.
Officers with the drug enforcement and crime suppression units searched a house on Anita Boulevard at 6:26 p.m. on June 19 and say they found several types of suspected controlled substances:
- 1 oz. Cocaine
- 1 oz. psilocybin/magic mushrooms
- 96 Xanax pills
- Less than a gram of fentanyl
- Three oxycodone pills
The accused range in age from 24- to 42-years-old. All five of them were at the residence during the search.
They are scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 31.
