The battle of Vimy Ridge took place April 9 – 12, 1917 and the Canadian victory is said to be one of the country’s defining moments.  Over 10,000 troops were killed and wounded in the attack.

Cadets are 12 – 18 years old and are part of a free, nationally-funded development program that offers instruction in skills such as:

  • Marksmanship
  • Biathlon training
  • Survival and outdoor adventure
  • Canoeing
  • Hiking
  • Rappelling
  • Leadership
  • Music
  • Military style drill, dress, and deportment

The Capreol cadets parades at the Millennium Centre every Wednesday night from 6 – 9 pm.
