A basement fire has left a Greater Sudbury family without a home.
Emergency crews arrived at a home on Havenbrook Drive in the new Sudbury area shortly after 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Officials said the blaze was likely caused by an electrical issue, and it is not suspicious in nature.
Everyone inside the home managed to escape the fire unharmed.
The damage is estimated at around $250,000
