Highway 11, south of Temagami, is open following a collision involving a transport truck early Sunday morning.

Provincial police say shortly before seven o'clock, the driver of a southbound tractor trailer lost control of the rig near Rabbit Lake Road.

The truck ended up in Angus Lake.

OPP say two people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The highway was closed for a number of hours as hydro one crews worked to repair downed power lines. Provincial police and the ministry of the environment are investigating.

Update:

The 39-year-old driver from Brampton has been charged with failure to drive in marked lane.

Plans to remove the tractor trailer from the water is scheduled for a later time.
