Following yesterday’s announcement of two player trades, the Sudbury Wolves made another deal on today’s OHL trade deadline.
High scoring, Russian forward, Dmitry Sokolov, has been traded to the Barrie Colts in exchange for 18-year-old Alexey Lipanov.
Lipanov, a Russian native, has accumulated 11 goals and 18 assists in 35 games. He should arrive in Sudbury Wednesday afternoon ahead of a road game against his former team.
Hometown fans will be able to see the new players in action when the Wolves host the Steelheads on Friday.
