SUDBURY -- A man from the Sudbury-area has won a big prize with the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation's Spring 2020 Home Lottery.
Brian Bloom from the Greater Sudbury community of Falconbridge is the winner of a fully-furnished and professionally decorated downtown Toronto condo at the intersection of Yonge and Bloor along with $25,000 cash.
The draw for the bonus prize, valued at $1,030,000, took place last Thursday.
"Proceeds from the Princess Margaret Home Lottery fund cancer research and care at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Now more than ever before we are relying on our community of supporters to help us advance cancer research and Future Care Now for cancer patients at The Princess Margaret, across Canada and around the world," says Michael Burns, President and CEO of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
Organizers say tickets for the fundraisers are 80 per cent sold and features a $6.8 million grand prize, a $1.5 million lakefront cottage early bird prize, as well as over 21,000 other prizes and 50/50 draw.
