SUDBURY -- Public Health Sudbury & Districts is reporting the seventh case of the novel coronavirus in the area.
Officials say a man in his 50’s is the latest to be confirmed to have COVID-19. According to a news release Saturday evening, the man contracted the coronavirus through international travel.
He was tested on March 21 and is in self-isolation.
According to officials, the man was a passenger on Swoop airlines flight WO719 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Hamilton International Airport on March 16. Passengers in rows 19-23 as well as any flight crews on board are considered close contacts and must self-isolate for the next 14 days.
