Ontario Provincial Police in Temiskaming had a close call Monday night when a cruiser hit a moose on Highway 11 north of Temagami.
The officer is a bit sore, but thankfully he survived.
Police would like to remind everyone that the season change means that wildlife are moving around, so motorists should be alert, especially at night.
