Ontario Provincial Police say they are investigating a serious-collision Monday night in Sudbury.
It happened in the city's south end at the intersection of Highway 69 and the Highway 17 by-pass.
Police on scene say a transport was involved going off the road and landing in a ditch.
One person has a serious injury.
Emergency crews closed the eastbound lanes on Highway 17, with a detour through the city. Take Long Lake Road to Regent, turn right on Regent Street. Will take you to Highway 69 and Highway 17 east of the collision.
The Highway 17 westbound ramp and Highway 69 southbound are also closed.
