A well-known musician from North Bay is taking a big step forward in his career, and now has a new multi-album record and publishing deal.
Country singer Cory Marquardt, now known as Cory Marks, signed a five-record deal with Eleven Seven Music in New York.
Marks says he will be working with legendary music industry manager, Allen Kovac, who has helped many big bands, including Motley Crue.
"To be part of Eleven Seven, which is arguably the biggest indie rock label in the world, to be their first and only country singer assigned to that label, and starting an Eleven Seven Nashville Division, is really exciting for me to start my career." said Marks.
No word just yet on when the North Bay native's new music will be released.
We're told it will be unique blend of rock and country.
