A 36-year-old North Bay man faces sexual assault charges after an incident Saturday.
Police responded to a domestic assault call shortly after 10:00 pm Saturday night.
According to police a man and a woman were having a meeting to discuss their recent separation when the accused became angry and allegedly damaged a television before assaulting and sexually assaulting the female victim.
The victim was able to get into another room in the home and phoned police. She was taken to hospital, treated and released.
A man was arrested at the scene and now faces three counts of sexual assault, one count of assault, and one count of mischief.
During the investigation, two other allegations of sexual assault were made stemming from two separate incidents in 2018.
In order to protect the identity of the victim, North Bay Police will not be releasing the name of the accused.
