Sudbury senior killed in Highway 17 crash

A 74-year-old driver from Sudbury died Tuesday in a collision on Highway 17 in Markstay-Warren.

Ontario Provincial Police received the call at noon and responded with the Markstay-Warren Fire Department and the Manitoulin-Sudbury Paramedic Services.

The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The highway was closed in both directions for approximately four hours, while police processed the scene.
