Northern Ont. farm tractor driver charged with impaired

A 55-year-old from Seguin, Ont., has been charged with impaired driving after a farm tractor collided with a vehicle Wednesday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police responded at 11 a.m. to the crash, which took place vehicle on Highway 141 in Seguin Township.
“The driver of the farm tractor left the scene of the collision prior to police arrival but was identified by witnesses,” OPP said in a news release Thursday.
Charges include impaired driving, dangerous driving, failing to stop after an accident, failing to report an accident and seven counts of driving while prohibited.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on July 4. The farm tractor was impounded for 45 days.
