Police had the sidewalk in front of three homes on King Street East cordoned off on Tuesday and numerous evidence markers were observed on the snowy ground.
A neighbour who lives near the scene who didn't want to be named said they observed the forensics van and police using a drone after the incident, but didn't hear anything prior to officers showing up.
