Man, 23, charged with pointing gun at several people in Sudbury
Sudbury police say a weapons call about a man pointing a gun at a woman in the city’s West End on Tuesday afternoon led to multiple charges.
It happened around 3 p.m. Oct. 22 at a residential unit on Albinson Street that was supposed to be unoccupied, Greater Sudbury Police Service said in a news release Thursday morning.
"Upon entering the unit, the community member found two individuals inside the residence," police said.
"One of the individuals pointed a gun at the community member and told her to leave. The community member left and a short time later saw the individuals exit the residence."
Officers were dispatched to the scene shortly before 4 p.m. and didn’t find anyone inside the unit.
Investigators determined the same man previously pointed a gun at another person while at a Cedar Street home.
He is also believed to have shot the gun inside the Albinson Street unit on Oct. 21.
"No one was injured during these interactions," police said.
