Someone in Sault Ste. Marie will become a millionaire on Thursday night.

Those hoping to catch the ace of spades at the Esquire Club have been lining up for days to buy tickets.

The first person in the lineup, Wolfgang Warner, set up his tent at 2 pm on Tuesday and spent two nights on the sidewalk next to one of the busiest roads in the city.

"It’s pretty crazy because a couple times I was down at Bainbridge Avenue, past the Rexall, and I thought I don't want to be back there. So, I figured I’ll just come to the front of the line and if I have to spend an extra day here that's fine too." said Warner.

It's estimated the person who wins Thursday will walk away with more than $1.2-million. Because there is only one card left after 51 weeks, the name that is drawn will be the guaranteed winner.

Tickets go on sale Thursday at 2 pm to 9 pm.

All tickets purchased go into a drum and it is spun 20 times before the winner is drawn at 9:30 pm.  You must be present to win.
