It was a rocking day for music lovers in North Bay on the weekend.

A portion of Main Street, in the heart of downtown North Bay, was closed off for the second edition of Rocktoberfest.

The block party, organized by the North Bay Real Estate Board and community partners, featured a number of local musicians, food, and vendors, where you could purchase anything from clothing to craft beer. It also offered a number of activities for families including ukulele lessons and a kid’s funhouse.

It was free to the public, though anyone entering the party zone was asked to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the local foodbank.
