SUDBURY -- What It’s About: WE Celebrate: Class of 2020 is a party for the ages that will give students back the opportunity to celebrate the end of the school year with their classmates, communities and peers across Canada. The event kicks off with a week-long virtual coast-to-coast-to-coast road trip across Canada to commemorate the social impacts students have made culminating with the final stop – the biggest living room party of the school year

Who’s In It: WE Celebrate: Class of 2020 features a star-studded lineup delivering Canada’s 2020 valedictorian addresses, one-of-a-kind performances, and heartfelt surprises to celebrate students and educators who have been making a difference throughout the school year, and who continue to step up to support their communities during COVID-19. Hosted by Lilly Singh, WE Celebrate: Class of 2020 will feature Shawn Mendes, Tyrone Edwards, Selena Gomez, Brett Kissel, Shay Mitchell, Natalie Portman, Jacob Tremblay, Liz Trinnear, Chloe Wilde, alongside WE Co-founders, Craig Kielburger and Marc Kielburger.
Update: Additonal stars include Joe Jonas, Alessia Cara, Winnie Harlow, Johnny Orlando, and a special performance by Julia Michaels and JP Saxe.
Update: Beloved and iconic The Muppets Disney including Miss Piggy and Gonzo, TV personalities and podcast hosts Drew Scott and wife Linda Phan, singer-songwriter Lennon Stella, and NHL all-star P.K. Subban are joining the star-studded list of celebrities. Also set to join the celebration with spirited contributions are 6x JUNO Award-winning rock band Arkells with a special surprise appearance, and Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor.

More About The Event: The televised broadcast of WE Celebrate: Class of 2020 will capture the ‘best of’ moments from the week-long virtual coast-to-coast road trip. These WE Day inspired 45-minute interactive virtual events will include inspiring educational content to share with students as part of their end of school year celebrations.
Featuring inspiring stories of local youth making a difference, inspirational speeches and celebrity performances, the WE Celebrate: Class of 2020 virtual road trip will take place the week of May 25th and will make online stops in Ontario, Atlantic Canada and Quebec, the Prairies and B.C. and the Territories.
