Sault Ste. Marie Police Service says a residential fire has resulted in the temporary closure of one of the city's main roads.
The fire happened in the 700 block of Wellington Street East.
Police say the closure effects the road between East Street and Pim Street.
Fire crews are on the scene and the public is being asked to avoid the area.
