Highway 11 in North Bay has reopened following a serious collision, Ontario Provincial Police said Wednesday afternoon.

Ontario Provincial Police in North Bay is on the scene Wednesday of a serious two-vehicle collision on Highway 11.

The crash took place around noon today, with police, paramedics and firefighters responding. Drivers should expect delays.

The collision involved a passenger vehicle and a commercial motor vehicle.

Highway 11 North is closed from Marsh Drive to Cedar Heights Road and will remain closed for some time, police said.

A detour has been set up for passenger vehicles only.

The investigation is still ongoing and further information will be provided as it becomes available, police said.
