SUDBURY -- The discount retailer, Giant Tiger is expanding its footprint in Northern Ontario.
The plans are to open two new stores. One in Sault Ste. Marie and the other in North Bay.
In Sault Ste. Marie, the brand new 18-thousand square foot Giant Tiger will make its home in the Wellington mall. The official opening will be on Saturday July 25, 2020.
And on that same day a similar-sized store will be opened on Algonquin Avenue in North Bay, which is a second location in the city.
The chain Giant Tiger has over 2-hundred stores in Canada.
Store locations in Northern Ontario include two locations in Sudbury, two in Timmins, Espanola, Sturgeon Falls, Cochrane, New Liskeard and Kirkland Lake.
