A 26-year old man Hearst has died in a snowmobile crash.
OPP say Gino Couture was involved in a head-on collision Thursday night at approximately 11:45 p.m. on Shannon Lake, east of Hearst.
Members of the James Bay Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police, as well as the Cochrane District EMS and the MNRF responded to the crash involving two snowmobiles.
Couture was pronounced dead at the scene. The other male sledder was transported to a local hospital via ambulance with serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
The OPP is reminding snowmobilers to ride with caution.
