Freezing drizzle advisory in effect for Greater Sudbury

Environment Canada issued a freezing drizzle advisory Thursday for areas in and around Greater Sudbury.
"Freezing drizzle has developed over portions of the area and may persist until Friday morning when temperatures rise above zero," the advisory said.
"Freezing drizzle leading to ice accretion and slippery surfaces."
The advisory is in effect now through Thursday evening.
"Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery," Environment Canada said.
"Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance."
