SUDBURY -- A 23-year-old man has been accused of drug trafficking following a raid on a home between Sault Ste. Marie and Sudbury, police said in a news release.
Officers with Ontario Provincial Police's Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and Community Street Crime Unit searched a home on Lapointe Street in the town of Spanish on Tuesday night.
Police said suspected crack cocaine, cocaine and crystal meth along with drug paraphernalia and a small amount of cash were seized. The estimated street value of the seizure is $660.
As a result, a Spanish, Ont. resident has been charged with:
- Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
The accused is scheduled to appear in court in Blind River on Jan. 7.
