A 39-year-old driver has been charged after a delivery truck ended up in the ditch on Highway 11 in Marten River last weekend.

Ontario Provincial Police responded to the Aug. 24 crash, along with North Bay Ambulance and the Marten River Fire Department.

The truck was found on its side in the southbound ditch.

"The driver (sole occupant) was transported to the hospital where they were treated for minor injuries," the OPP said in a social media post.

"As a result of the investigation, a 39-year-old driver of Sturgeon Falls has been charged with careless driving and failing to properly wear (a) seatbelt. The vehicle was towed, and the highway remained open."
