Change of command at Sault army regiment
There’s a new man at the top of the 49th Field Artillery Regiment in Sault Ste. Marie. Lieutenant-Colonel Brian Nadon is now in charge following a change of command ceremony and parade at the Sault Armoury. Nadon has spend 34 years in the Canadian Forces.
“I think it was instilled in me at a very young age as part of the Navy League cadets and later on Sea Cadets from the of age ten, going to Remembrance Day ceremonies, seeing the veterans, talking to veterans, seeing that sense of duty people had,” said Nadon.
The ceremony was not open to the public, but was well attended by active serving members of the military, veterans and family members.
Nadon takes over from Lt.-Col Robert Lambert.
